Your First Visit

What to expect.

01

Before Your Appointment

Complete patient intake forms online through the Columbia Connect MyChart portal. Bring any prior imaging (X-rays, MRI) on CD or digital format.

02

At Your Appointment

Dr. Knudsen will take a thorough history, examine you, and review any imaging. He will explain what he finds in plain language and outline all treatment options — surgical and non-surgical.

03

Your Plan

You'll leave with a recommended treatment plan and clear next steps, discussed in plain language so you know what to expect.

Patient Experience

He went over my MRI thoroughly and answered all my questions in a way I could understand. He was patient, not pushy, and seemed to care greatly about his patients. I felt very comfortable choosing him as my surgeon.
